Show Notes
Thru hiker and yoga instructor Tara "BAM" Atkinson joins Doc in the studio to talk about how a dream delayed does not mean a dream denied. Settle in and buckle up as BAM shares how her traditional life took a turn when her youngest son graduated high school and she hit the trails with a passion. With six of the 11 national scenic trails under her trail runners in the last 3.5 years, BAM teaches us all that we're never too old to pursue our passions. During her discussion of the last 9,000 miles, BAM talks about Portland, high school reunions on trail, learning to not be at war with the elements out there, graduation tents, compromise on the trail, Crippled Snail, and the most dangerous creature on trail (hint, it's not a bear). Epic.
